Just to let you know about some scheduled downtime at MailSpaces.com and some exciting new developments.
First, the downtime. Can you please warn your members:
Friday 16th February 2007 20:00 GMT to Saturday 17th February 2007 14:00 GMT (approx) And the reason?
We’re putting in a massive upgrade to the system this weekend. What that means is:
1. Your space will become known as http://blokart.mailspaces.com – the email address is the same, and the old links will work
2. You will be able to invite new members direct from your space
3. There is a new checklist on your space home page to help you get the most out of configuring your space
4. E-mail will be clearer, and have better structure
5. Many spaces will be faster to load and view. You will see more and more improvements in this area
6. We will be introducing “Themed” spaces, around family, sports and other activities such as recycling and “FreeSharing”.
If you’re a regular user, we hope these will help you make your space even better. If you don’t come and see us that often, why not pop back next week, and see what we’ve been up to (give us a few days to shake the bugs out).
NOTE: these times are UT. Please plan your postings in time to avoid any disruption to your "sailing plans". Here's hoping there is plenty of wind over the weekend and we all have little time for postings !!
