Grant,
Thanks for that.
I’m particularly interested in the approaches to schools and methods and please keep me posted.

Subject: [blokart] International Blokart(r) Raccing Association
Dear Blokart Mailspaces Members,
I am aware that there are many international members in this group. This is to advise you that on Friday the (founding) international representatives agreed the first set of Equipment and Sailing Rules. The countries represented were NZ, Australia, Japan ad USA.
Since we started formulating these rules, I have also been talking and corresponding with Spain, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The document has now gone to them for their input and feedback.
If there are other counties wishing to join the association, please let me know. If there are sailors in the countries mentioned that don't know the local representative, please let me know and I will put you in touch. There are many clubs, but no country associations at this time apart from NZ (that we know of). We are happy to assist you to form a country association, and can assist you with documentation.
Please pass this request to any other blokart® sailor that you think may be interested on holding or participating in international events. The purpose of the association is to foster participation in international events with a common set of sailing rules, so that the best sailor wins, not the one with the most money or time to tune and modify a blokart(r). A "1-class" design.
We are also in the process of setting up a program for schools, to introduce young people to blokart® sailing..
Regards
