Joe,

We set informal standards to verify speed attempts last year and talked about them again at the Spanish Open this last December. They are much like the ones in NZ. As yet, no one as taken the inititive to build a website to record entries and make the standards publically known.  Maybe the Class Action site would be a good place to do this.

Standards as done by Kevin Meyers from the UK last year. First, a verifiable GPS unit (cleared before hand and video or still photo of the unit after the speed attempt) Second, two witnesses from the local club (in this case the BLSA) And third, as much of the speed run on video as possible.
Looks like most of the pieces are in place with the exception of a posting place on a website. I can mention it to the group in Europe and UK to see if they will put it up on the BBC site (British Blokart Club). And/or any other EU sites that want to. We may then be able to consolidate all recorded speed runs world wide once a year and post on a central site.

The snow is melting here. Forecast is for 60 degrees, then dropping back below freezing. There is still hope for a little blade action here.
