Hi,

I didn't check my emails before leaving home on Sunday... I assumed that the fact there was only 1 knot in Browns Bay meant that there was at least 10 knots at BPP.

Turns out there was!

(not quite.)
The wind started picking up at 1:30.
But when I got there Ray had his kart together and the club kart I think and 3 keen students. So I set my spare one up and had a go with the 5.5m to figure out what angles they should be sailing in the carpark. Wind was quite variable, but the light weight students they were having fun. I can't recall how many we had maybe 5 or 6 and the parents who brought them down. No idea where they were from (Ray?).

One didn't want to get out of my kart – he was having a lot of fun. But his family had got tired of watching him!

So there was just enough wind – good for new light weight students.... the club could do with some demo 5.5m sails.

Shortage of wind today means the schools day at BPP is postponed until
next Sunday 5th April at 1.00pm.

See you then.
