Hi Russell,

Looks like a good day for a day trip. Andrew I have room to pick you up on the way and I still room for one more from the Bay, taking the trailer. Leaving 8am from Welcomebay.

We will be using the "COOIE" sand bearing protectors! patent pending.

Cheers,
Don

It could be "Orca" weather! Lots of wind coming.

Looking good for Saturday at Muriwai. All forecasts now saying SW swinging to W late Saturday with plenty of wind (and some rain). The different predictions vary from 15 - 20 up to 30 knts. So leave the 5.5s behind, put away the 4s (leave in the car is the safest bet just in case the wind drops) and put up the 3s for what could be our fastest 100 km yet. Looks like 100 km of exhilarating fun.

2007 - 2 hours 53 minutes

2008 - 2 hours 37 minutes.

2009 - could we break the elusive 2 hour barrier if wind predictions are true?

Turn up on Saturday for a fast trip and find out if the heavy weights will dominate or can the light weights hold them off with faster downwind legs.

Can out of Auckland sailors let me know direct if you're planning on being here with a mobile number for last minute updates.
