Hi Grant,
Sounds like we need some equipment scruntineers. New rule. All ABC members to be scrutineered / strip searched and cavity (what's inside the POD?) searched for illegal products.
Looking forward to it. Racing that is!

Cheers,

Theo

Theo – the competition looks so hot for tomorrow that I have done the sand removal myself already – and even replaced a tyre that blew on the last Sunday Winter Series Race Day – and I didn’t even come last.  I’ve also checked that I don’t have the beach bearings in. This high level of interest for tomorrow must have got me motivated. Why, I might even think about changing my standard battens (scratch that – that’s all I’ve got, and I’ve just sharpened 30 spades so I’m about ground out).

Just watch out for ORCA wanting to sandbag the rest of US – i.e. weigh us all up to Superheavy class! He doesn’t appreciate us weasels (you excluded of course as you’re a Superheavy too) can’t move that extra weight about the kart very well (but come to think of it if we put the weight in the front of the kart like Haydn does with his tools, we might get some extra traction on the front wheel on the windy days).  That that a 40 Knot day!

Really looking forward to the wind treat, as you know there is no Blokart Heaven too strong for some if us from the ABC! I feel a grin coming on already. This is shaping up for a fabulous day and the rain might even stay away.

Game on!

Hi Grant,

Great to hear you're coming "down under". Will order especially good winds for you. We have services available to clean that Omaha sand away.

See you on Sunday.

Cheers,

Theo

Hi Theo

Count me in. A55, heavyweight plus some Omaha sand. I should be in the system. Bring on the wind!

Regards

Grant

Greetings all,

It's looking good for this Sunday with 20 knot NW winds predicted. Race no 2 is on! Bring those 3 metre sails.

We have exclusive use of Blokart Heaven for the day, which is now managed by newly formed company Game On Activities Ltd. (they have other activities ie lazer tag, to offer supporters if they wish).

Plan to start racing at 12pm, so gear up and practise from 11am. Race fees $20 per adult, $5 per child, $5 transponder hire.

Social BBQ and results in the kiosk after racing. All very welcome! We have visitors from Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua coming.

Please reply to this email if you are coming so we can preload as many sailors as possible into Microsoft Mary. Also state weight group if you have not yet been weighed in.

I will text and update weather on Saturday.

Looking forward to seeing all those Blokart grins,

Cheers,

Theo (Race Officer)
