Highest gust here was 6 Knots in last hour. 1 Knot at Ardmore at the moment. 6 knots Auckland airport. Overall trend is wind dropping. Updates from Trevor P (Pakuranga) and Mako (West Auckland) are not much better. Fancy a lightning bolt to your mast – looking promising? I'm happy with my 3 close calls with lightning, and it's started to rain too!

So racing tonight is called off for a fortnight, pity we need that race. *It's overcast at the moment, so I'm not hopeful for a sea breeze. Now watch me get proven wrong... Isobars are getting wider, so I don't think we can expect an increase in wind. Cheers
