This will be the last night of the twilight race series if the wind holds up. It's predicted to be rising to 15 knts this afternoon which is idea. We have 26 races so far and need another 4 to finish off. I hope everyone has looked at bearings after last weeks blast at the beach. Next week we might have a self handicapping points night for something different or maybe some OPTN challenges. Meet tonight 5 - 5.30, briefing about 5.50 and racing to start at 6. See you there. Looks like we're smokin' on Mailspaces too. After missing the migration from Smartgroups I've managed to connect without having to resort to a 4m + CRB!
Many thanks on behalf of the sailors in the Twlight series Russell for organising and recording the latest series. We wait with baited breath to see whether you can beat Haydn in his new "faster" kart next time (when you get to sail again) - or are cream buns and pies on the menu so we have to do battle with you in the heavyweights forever more. Perhaps the prize for winning the Scratch class is you have to run the next round! A new form of self handicapping? Did news get out before the last race Haydn?
Some fabulous battles on the track last night and a few run-away tyres to dodge too!
