New Zealand Secondary Schools’ blokart Championships 2009

The NZBAI is pleased to announce that the New Zealand Secondary Schools’ blokart Championships 2009 will be held on the 5th & 6th of September at Bruce Pulman Park, Takanini, Auckland.
The entry form is available from the New Zealand Secondary Schools' Sports Council's website at http://www.nzsssc.org.nz/index.cfm/Entry_Forms or there is a link off the events page of the NZBAI's website at www.bai.co.nz.
So for all the youth blokart sailors out there – print it off and start hassling your sports coordinator! Get some practise, be there & have a great time.

Thanks Nick,
Is this a secondary schools event or a youth event? It looks like a secondary schools event, in that younger sailors can’t enter. My son is 12, 6 months from secondary school… is he eligible?

Hi Dave
have a look here...http://www.nzsssc.org.nz/index.cfm/Regulations_and_Eligibility_Criteria
Year 9 above. So your son appears to be eligible :-)
At the moment it is secondary schools... with two weight divisions. Hopefully as the sport grows and we get more youth participation we can add age brackets to the event for younger competitors.
Hope to see you there :-)
Regards
Nick
