Calling all BBC members.
ABC are organising a teams racing day to be held at Bruce Pulman Park on Sunday 21st June, ie 2 weeks away!
See below for format.
I have done this event once and it was a hoot! The term "team", is very important to remember.
So anyone keen from the Bay, let me know and we can organise teams and transport.

This is a fun event with quite a different dimension to sailing against other competitors as you help some and have to beat others. It's team points that count so you don't have to win each race.

Hi Paul and Tina,

It went well last week, the cardboard didn’t turn up but we got the boxes all closed up and gone.

We got all the hatches cleaned up for slotting. I got Jono to call the guy that cuts them and make sure they were both 40mm from each end. He is going to adjust his jig. (Repairs still required)

Decanted the gel today (1/2 of it) we need some more pales to do it all.

It is back into normal production now with the possibility of some going to Europe around the 20th June.

I here you have had some fun with accommodation and flights.

Hope things improve.

I asked the blokart club to find an alternative place to have their committee meeting tonight after talking with Matt as Theo, Stu and I were not going to be there.

Take care, and hopefully some of the sights have diluted the effects of the accommodation.

Wind is swinging to SW on Sunday and looks to be over 15 knts. This is a last chance for some practice before a busy three weeks. Teams racing next weekend, please let me know if you want in, Sport Unleashed Winter Series the following weekend and the North Island Champs on 4/5 July. Get the lawns done now because the next month is stuffed!
This weekend is also Bay race day at Papamoa, looks like the weather will be kind. Those planning on going, get together to share a ride down. 12 noon kick off and always a fun day.
