Please also consider using Wanganui for accommodation, The Masters Games Party is a lot of fun and Ohakia is only 30min drive from Wangas. Plenty of other sports to take part in, or go see too!

Looks like we won't all be able to stay at the one venue as the camping ground is not big enough. There will be about over 20 sailors coming as well as partners so make your mind up quickly.

The forecast stayed correct with good wind all night. It fluctuated between WSW and SW so there were gains to be made if you could pick the changes.

I got home safe and it only took me 9 hours! I went on a 3 hour detour because of the roads I thought were closed. 47 & 4 were probably never closed and it looks like 49 was cleared in the morning!

New venue for the Blokart event at Masters Games 2009 will be Ohakea Air Base, ye ha! Ohakea is about 20 minutes from Palmerston North, so you can keep your PN accommodation.

Good winds all afternoon but dropped away a bit about 5.45 before we started racing. Our normal track also became unsailable when the wind shifted to more NE just before race start.
