Race day is this Sunday. Forecast is for fine weather and about 10 knts of wind, variable, which isn't always a good sign.

Sport Unleashed Winter Series, AGM, 5.5m

The Sport Unleashed Winter Series will continue at Ardmore airport this Sunday. It is preceded by the AGM at 10 am, being held at Ardmore in the RTEC building.

AGM at 10.30 sharp in the Rec centre at BPP. We are using the upstairs meeting room. This is followed by our race day. At this stage we have a gale warning in force so no lack of wind.

The Blokart Associations' AGM is to be held on 12th of August at 10am at Blokart Heaven. We are intending to set up a telephone conference for those people unable to attend personally.

Sunday is looking good for a sail without rain. If there is a prediction of wind at Blokart Heaven then quite a few will head for Papamoa and the BBC race day after the AGM (10 am start).

Plenty of wind in the morning for the AGM but dropped away for the afternoon. I started 3 races but all were abandoned as the wind fluctuated (or as Ross got in front!) and sailors started to wheel.

Updating this one day meet. The there is a westerly wind of 13 knots predicted at 9am and easing to 12, the rain has passed so looks set to be a good.
