Well it's all over. The predicted wind didn't arrive so everyone had 5.5s up and those without them borrowed from other competitors. We used a short course and only one match race at a time. |

So are there any spare 5.5's lying around anywhere for a new heavyweight to borrow if the wind is light for the NI Champs? Baby on the way means purchasing one brand new is out of range at the moment. |

Yesterday's team racing was a great event. Thanks to Russell and the committee and especially the timekeepers without whom it would not be an event. Thanks also to the food organisers. |

A great day! From the Bay Blockheads team, many thanks ABC for yet another successful event. Yes the wind was light, but that's just part of Blokart racing. Teams racing is here to stay, I'm sure. |

Be keen to hear about your "team tactics". Sounds serious. I might have to get the Auckland team leader, "hotdog Hales" to arrange our own team practice sessions. |
