I didn't knoe Dave played off-season cricket Phil? :-^) Must be the botox that keeps him looking so youthful. |

Now Dave, you cannot go away and hide from that half century, cos they all know about it up there now! oops, did I let the cat out of bag, I hope the shout does not cost you too much, yeah right! |

Hi Don We will be up there this weekend so if you can fit in a couple more lightweights from Capital Blokart on Sunday that would be great. Let us know and also details etc. Cheers Gaye & Dave Forster |

Welcome, Wind forecasts look good for tomorrow with showers thru to lunch time 31knots! But from the SE, Sounds a bit like last weekend. |

Hi Peter, It is 103.8 but it can’t be picked up more than a kilometer away. To go any further you need a broadcast liceince. |
Garry Ingram | 09 June 2007 23:16 |

For those of us who don't have FM capable cellphones and iPods, what is the FM frequency used to transmit from blokart heaven, so we can hopefully pick up the broadcast on god 'ol steam powered... |

The forecast for Sunday is for light winds and 6knots from the East, unfortunately this will not be sufficient for a race day. |
Don McKenzie | 07 July 2007 18:00 |
|
Thanks Garry, Only a kilometer? If it's that close, I might as well be there - and that wasn't possible this time around. Hope to see you all in October however. Cheers nonerd |

125kg certainly beats me, but not by much. I've suddenly become all coy and anonymous at the prospect of becoming infamous as the beefiest blokarter. |

Don, Forgot to answer your question .... the best was the one that Paul has decided to go with (whew) ... was that the green one? |
El Zorro | 08 July 2007 22:06 |

You most certainly can Peter, |
Don McKenzie | 08 July 2007 21:39 |

Well Don, As the slowest and argueably the heaviest blokarter, (and just maybe one of the oldest) can I expect to be secretly whisked to blokart heaven to beta test the new 5 metre sail? |
nonerd Last but not least | 08 July 2007 21:16 |
|
Hey Don, Totally agree – super heavies (that is 100 kg plus not the wimp SH 95 kg – have some more pies if you ain’t up to it – Orca you can owe me). |
El Zorro | 08 July 2007 19:14 |
|
Sorry, Orca and I are the Guardians of the 5m sail, We had a meeting this afternoon, and Super Heavies only, have the rights..... so by the way which of the prototypes was the best today? |
Don McKenzie | 08 July 2007 18:22 |
|
Hi Don, Count me in. Have seen the 5m in action but never tried one – should be just what a heavyweight needs. |

A busy day at blokart heaven getting ready for start tomorrow. No real wind so no practice for the keen ones. The track has dried and sand and gravel swept away from the corners. |

Tough day for a last practice before NZ Open. Not much breeze so started with a half hour blackboard session on sailing at BH. |

Hi Bruce, I did have a little chuckle about that but didn't mention it. I'm sure in was unintentional on Alex's part. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was so humble as you? |

yes the Bay of Lots and Lots was well represented with a bus load, a van load from BH and a car load from Rotorua, 12 in total and they definitely mixed it up with those south of the Zombie Hills... |

No wind this week but expected to be 15+ knts NE on Sunday although forecast is changing around a bit. May be better for BPP rather than an east coast beach where low tide is around 11. |

Mackay, eh, is it still on? We heard that it was not happening... ? I probably cannot make it, already booked for BH end of Sept tho, I gather you will be there... Cheers Phil |

8 - 10 knts of breeze, a short tight course to test sailing skills, and about 15 blokart sailors meant a good relaxed day at BPP. Good to see Bill and Judy along and joining up to the club. |

Hi again all, Sorry for lateness of this last posting, it's been a busy day. Forecast still looking good at 16 to 20 knots NNW, but may pay to bring some wet weather gear in case. |

The recent dialogue on the racing rules brings back memories of the HOURS spent on conference calls internationally while we debated these same points. |

Hi Grant, Theo didn't have a 5.5 during the Europeans. He actually won with his 4.0... The only 5.5 at teh Europeans was a prototype brought by Bbizz! Thats why we only had 4 races during the WE. |
