The idea for this race started with a chat between a few club members who were keen to take up the challenge at Kariotahi beach.

Hi, I turned up to run the race and was surprised at the number of entries.

Blokart User 16 April 2007 10:12

Fantastic! Plenty of wind made this the best "Great Race" we have had to date.

smokin' blokarter 09 May 2009 21:01

What a blast! We got that 30 knots (plus a few higher gusts as well) and Russell tried out the 2 and the 3m, using me as the “control” with just a 3m. The results – very interesting!

Perhaps one will find its way into the bus that uses no diesel and find its way to 90 mile beach. I’ll offer to put it up in our cabin (and sleep in it if beds are scarce!)

El Zorro 16 November 2008 10:24

Back from Muriwai - "fairy" 2 metre sail rules!

smokin' blokarter 23 June 2007 12:31

Originally sent by: Grant Well perhaps our Aquada Mk II attempts need a little refinement! Pity I forgot to put the bung in the dirt skirt.

Richard Blokart NZ Egroup Manager 29 November 2006 18:42

Originally sent by: grunta Well Mike, why don't you want to talk about Kariotahi?

Richard Blokart NZ Egroup Manager 29 November 2006 18:41
